- At least 5-6 years of experience in Project Management within the Automotive industry, in a customer-interfacing setup.
- Solid knowledge of project management principles, processes, and tools.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to present complex information clearly to senior management.
- Proven ability to lead multicultural teams.
- Creative, adaptable, and solution-oriented approach.
- Fluent English; an additional language such as German is an advantage.

- Lead and develop the Process Engineering team, driving continuous improvement and technical capability across global manufacturing sites.
- Manage the transfer and implementation of new technologies, products, and manufacturing processes from global engineering into production.
- Own PCP/PPCP activities and support RFQ/RFS processes by providing input on process capability, efficiency, scrap, and investment requirements.
- Ensure project targets for quality, productivity, efficiency, and scrap reduction are achieved while supporting global manufacturing operations with technical expertise and troubleshooting.
- Lead Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews and oversee the development of PFMEAs, Control Plans, Process Flow Charts, jigs, and equipment specifications for new product introductions.
- Collaborate with Automation, Operations, and Engineering teams to optimize production line layouts, line balancing, time studies, manpower planning, and equipment design.
- Establish and strengthen process management systems, support customer and quality audits, and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
- Promote global knowledge sharing by transferring technical know-how, sharing best practices and lessons learned, and contributing to global engineering expert networks.
- University Degree in Engineering discipline
- About 10 years of experience in the Automotive industry, particularly within Manufacturing / Process Engineering / similar departments.
- Expertise / Skills: Knowledge of problem-solving tools like SE, DOE. Able to use CAD to design jigs & fixtures. Able to use APIS IQ-RM software to create PFMEA. Able to use SAP for related work. Able to use office software such as project and Viso.
- Team player, clear and concise in communication, following up on details.
- Fluent English.
- Based in Belgium or within the EU and willing to relocate.
- Able to travel 30-40% of the time, mainly within Europe, but also overseas on occasions.
- Able to work on site pretty much every day, with of course some flexibility provided to you.
- Able to take online meetings during different times of the day if needed, due to counterparts being based in North America and Asia.
